More Paintball Art
Paintball has been used as an art form before, but it's still fun to see what people come up with. A group has designed a paintball printer that actually makes some pretty cool-looking pictures. I'm not sure if the printer is ever going to go on sale, but it is a cool idea and something to check out. The videos are particularly fun to watch through.More Paintball Art originally appeared on About.com Paintball on Thursday, May 6th, 2010 at 12:24:58.Permalink | Comment | Email this paintball.about.com |
D-Day in Scotland
Paintball is definitely an American-born sport and the annual D-Day game in Oklahoma is the big game all other big games aspire to become. Sometimes though, with all our reenactments and themed scenario events based on WWII we seem to forget on which side of the Atlantic the war with Germany was actually fought. It seems appropriate, then, that Scottish Adventure Centre hosted a recent D-Day event and I've spent some time enjoying Team PUPS's coverage and videos of the event. The terrain is reminiscent of actual pictures of the Normandy beaches complete with barbed wire, bunkers and lots of smoke and it looked like it was a very well-executed event. Plus, the Scottish accents made me laugh.D-Day in Scotland originally appeared on About.com Paintball on Saturday, June 12th, 2010 at 10:30:22.Permalink | Comment | Email this paintball.about.com |
