Boy Scouts Finally Get to Go Paintballing
The Boy Scouts have long been opposed to allowing scouts participate in paintball, but it appears their stance has shifted. KEE Action Sports is hosting a paintball event at this year's Scout Quest 100 in St. Louis as part of the organization's 100th anniversary. Paintball and Scouting always seemed to be an ideal match, so it's nice to see that the Boy Scouts of America are warming to the sport. Too bad it took them this long - it would have been great when I was a scout to play some paintball with my troop.Boy Scouts Finally Get to Go Paintballing originally appeared on About.com Paintball on Thursday, May 20th, 2010 at 01:15:34.Permalink | Comment | Email this paintball.about.com |
Paintball Gun for Billiards
While paintball and pool both use balls - paintballs and billiard balls don't really have much in common other than their shape. Bruce Johne, though, saw paintball guns as a way to play pool and invented the Pneu Power Cue. I'm nothing more than a casual pool player, but adding a pool cue to a paintball gun and shooting pool with a trigger just might make me more inclined to play. You can purchase the cue with or without a gun, so paintballers should be able to try it out for a little bit less.If you are a paintballer and a pool player, let us know what you think of the idea.Paintball Gun for Billiards originally appeared on About.com Paintball on Saturday, June 19th, 2010 at 12:32:49.Permalink | Comment | Email this paintball.about.com |
